                                               Quidditch: Teams of Ireland and Britain

                                                                There are 13 teams that compete for the League Cup and they are:

 

Appleby arrows: Northern Britain, founded in 1612. Pale blue robes with a sliver arrow on front. One of there best games was against the European champions the Vrasta vultures. A match that lasted 16 days in dense fog and rain. Strong rivals with the Wasps

 

Ballycastle bats: One of the most celbrated quidditch teams in history. They have one the cup 27 times, the second most successful team.

 

Caerphilly Catapults: They were founded in 1402 and have one the league cup 18 times.

 

Chudley Cannons: The Cannons glory days are over, but  having one the League cup 21 times there is still hope for the Cannons. The Cannons have a very devoted fan base (such as Ron). They haven't won the Cup since 1892.

 

Falmouth Falcons: The Falcons are known for their exceptionally hard play. The players who received this reputation were the world famous beaters Kevin and Karl Broadmoor who played for the club for 11 years received 14 suspensions .

 

Holyhead Harpies: A very famous club for they have only hired witches to play.

 

Kenmare Kestels: A very celebrated Irish team who have displays of the team mascots, leprechauns.

 

Montrose Magpies: The most successful team having won the League cup 32 times. They once had a seeker ask for a faster snitch because it was too easy.

 

Pride of Portree: Comes from the island of Skye where they were founded in 1292.

 

Puddlemere United:  Founded in 1162 the United are the oldest team in the league and have one the League cup 22 times.

 

Tutshill Tornados: Founded in 1520 they have one the league cup 5 times in a row, their seeker during that time Roderick Plumpton holds the record for fastest capture of the snitch 3 and 1/2 seconds.

 

Wigton Wanderers: Founded in 1422 by seven offspring of a wizarding butcher. 

 

Wimbourne Wasps: Have one the cup 18 times and received their names from an incident that happened during a game when a beater from the wasps hit a wasps nest at the Arrows seeker and he was stung so badly he was removed from the game.
